Learning French of English represents a daunting challenge. However it is important to know that there are services especially designed to facilitate the learning of the official languages and to support integration.

In agreement with the provincial governments and several organisms from the education community, the government of Canada offers free French or English immersion courses in many centres distributed all over the country. The Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) courses are meant for adult permanent residents.
